I picked up a Neoware/HP E90 thin client, and a 6300. BOTH have me locked out with Admin passwords.

I've been told I need to use Neoware's Flash Recovery software, but I cannot find it anywhere. HP removed it from their site earlier this month. I'm a day late. DOH!

So anywho, does anyone out there have Neoware's "Flash Recovery" or an easy way to hack the Admin password?

Thanx in advance!!

I wasn't going to post this because it sounds like BULLSH** to me but it can't hurt to try if you haven't already.

There are a few posts in a couple of places that say that the default password is "DOGBITES". I didn't buy the Neo I was researching it for, so I have nothing to try it on. I don't believe that it's true, but I've been wrong before.

The password for the neoware is the same as the
user name, but the first character is upper case. Only the first character is upper case. Try it.
I do have a neoware for my MJ and it is working fine.

I was having the same problem with my neoware password, I called hp (hp owns neoware) and I was given the advice I gave you earlier, about the default password being "Administrator" same as the user name, but be mindful of the spelling, the first character being upper case. If that does not work call this number 610-277-8300. It used to be neoware tech support number. You will be re-directed to hp for the help you need.

Good luck.
