This device has so many strange sides to it. I have just noticed during a cleanup of my laptop, that the magicjack registries will not delete, even with Registry Crawler, which is a very aggressive tool.
Any similar experiences. ??
thx

There is no uninstaller for the magicJack... There are some helpful suggestions here: http://uninstallmagicjack.com/ A link is also in the wiki. |

I realise the software is embedded in the device, but the unneeded registry entries of any application or device can normally be removed by a registry editor ......what attributes are being manipulated to prevent a registry editor from doing its job. ?? |

If they embedded nulls in the registry keys, they would not delete using regedit. You'd need to use a tool like RegDelNull.
Also, make sure you are an Administrator.
Which key(s) are you having problems with? I've never seen this on my local machine. |
