Magicsilence Release 2 is fully compatible with magicJack's brand new dialer (rel 2.0.x).

The "Magicsilence" Plugin gives you full control over the magicJack dialer window providing you with the ability to maintain focus on your primary computer activities. Unless you decide to manually open it, the magicJack dialer window will remain closed even during incoming and outgoing calls.

An optional show "Call Alert" feature is available to conveniently display the incoming call information window in the lower right hand portion of your screen when a new call arrives with the option to accept/ignore the call.

You can manually open the magicJack dialer window at any time as you normally do (by double left mouse clicking on the magicJack dialer icon) in case you want to check something or decide to use a headset for your call. The only difference is that you are now in control.

The Magicsilence Plugin is free to try for 7 days and can be downloaded from http://www.pcphonesoft.com .

Will this let those of us with Google Voice have calls that ring to our Magic Jack go to GV voice mail if there is no answer? Thank you.

See http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/google-voice-how-to-eliminate-mj-voice-mail-pickup-t9719.html for a solution for Google Voice.

Magicsilence Release 2.01 is now available for download from http://www.pcphonesoft.com .

It includes a brand new optional Show "Call Alert" feature to conveniently display the incoming call information window in the lower right hand portion of your screen when a new call arrives with the option to accept/ignore the call. The window is displayed without stealing focus from your work.

The optional Show "Call Alert" feature can be enabled/disabled directly from the Magicsilence Plugin icon popup menu.

magicsilence 2 is 7 day trial, magicblock is freeware. Works just fine. Old thread, yes, but it comes up still when certain words are typed into google. That's why I wanted to freshen it up. As I said, updated info that will now appear is that magicblock that's still freeware works!

Unless the product you mentioned was recently updated to be fully compatible with the brand new magicJack dialer, over time you may uncover that it does indeed have some subtle issues and side effects as others have also described in this forum. I was also able to reproduce some of them after very thorough testing was done when running it myself at time the new magicJack dialer was released.

If you thoroughly tested the product you mentioned and it does meet your needs, that is great and I honestly hope you sent the author a reasonable donation using the donate button he provided. For clarification, it is however not fully compatible with most of our other plugins like Magicfeatures and is not quite as feature rich as MagicSilence Release 2 that now includes a nice call alert feature that does not steal focus.
