Just switched computers. I was using my Magicjack on a XP system but was using Chrome. Now using Vista, but still Chrome. When I plug in the Magicjack I always get the red error message that I need to plug the magicjack into a usb. What's up with that ? |

Have you tried using a different USB port or a powered hub? |

Have you tried installing MJ as an Administrator?
Look in the Device Manager at USB Root hubs. Look for a setting that allows the computer to turn off this device and un-check that option for all USB Root hubs.
The option will be on the 'Power Management' tab of the 'Properties' form for the USB Root hubs. You may not see the 'Power Management' tab if you are logged on as a Standard user.
