I was just using TeamViewer today to set up a scheduled reboot. After I finished, I realized I was on SOMEONE ELSE'S Thin Client!
I would have to guess it is someone using HolmanGT's image, or the password being the same would be way too coincidental.
I do not know who's machine I modified -but "Ganesh" was the top entry on their call list or contacts list. My apologies.
I suggest we all change the default password and "commit" the change to memory. |

The safest way would be to set Teamviewer to accept LAN connections and then you can access it using it's ip address as well as Teamviewer assigned #. Then go into Advanced settings and under network set it to accept LAN connections only so it won't even register with the Teamviewer servers. You will no longer be able to access the Teamviewer remote from outside your LAN. This also speeds up access to the remote. |
