O.K. I have an HP 5520, actually two of them, sometimes they boot when I push the power button, sometimes they don't, more often then not, they don't, no lights, no nothing, no matter how many times I press the button. Tried jumpering across the switch, that doesn't work, so I'm assuming it must be something other than the switch. Any ideas?

The HP 5520 is not suitable for use with magicJack.

What's the history of the 2 T5520's? Were they from eBay and guaranteed to work? Can you verify the power supplies are working? If the green light on the power supply comes on, can you switch the last piece of cable going from the power supply to the thin client to confirm it's not the cable? Last question, are the power supplies the ones for the thin clients or from something else?

You realize the T5520's run Windows CE and MJ needs Windows XP or some flavour of XP?

Not Ture I am running one of Alpmans 5520's now. If he was around he would tell you how to get it up and running. I know he added a micro drive and his version of xp to the mix, but it is definately possible.

Tony,

The units are Alpsman scratch & dents. One worked for a short while till the microdrive crashed, the other one I bought for parts, mainly the microdrive. The second one did not come with a power supply. I have checked the power supply with a volt meter and it appears to be O.K. It acts like the power button isn't working, which is why I tried shorting around it. Thanks
