Has anyone tried running Winamp on HP Thin Client? I ask cause I have a TC coming and have a Lucent/Avaya/Partner phone system in the house and it would be cool to run both MJ and winamp for music on hold. Thanks, Jim

Would not know of any reason why winamp would not run on the TC as long as there is room for it.

I haven't run winamp, but I've run a lot of other media players on my t5720. It works fine. MJ already has music on hold -- I'm not sure how you'd work that.

I'd be curious as to how you would pull this off as well. As we are a radio station, it would be GREAT to be able to have our own station as "music on hold" so, please forward more information!

Thanks,
Keith

MY HP TC is in the mail(well ups). I'm good with computers so I'm going to guess I can get i running(going to use an old(ie small) winamp install. May try windowz MP but it big(side note I should be able to find and old copy) but some ver's have streaming built in.
