I have my magicjack plus connected to my hub. Works fine. I also have software for recording my calls in my pc, vonalink solorecord, which also works fine. It therefore occurs to me that I should be able to use some 3rd party softphone software on my pc to make and receive calls on the magicjack plus. Is this too much of a leap? I chatted with MJ support, they said their "engineers are working on it", but is there a 3rd party solution now?
I'd like this option so I can use my pc headset to make/receive calls.
TIA! |

I could agree with you scotty200. Hopefully, a third party softphone with MJ will be available in the nearest future. |

I don't want to plug it into my computer. I want to be able to use it either thru my computer (via the softphone) when I'm sitting at my desk, or thru my regular phone -- so I can use it when I'm not sitting at my desk. |

You can try to setup a call forwarding to your cell phone. This is the best option I can advise to you. |
