Me: I just checked my account for some research on incoming calls recently. I see that
I cannot do that and am starring at a notice that my number expired on 2/4/2012.
That's not possible as I renewed on 1/20/2012 for two years. I also see that 911 has
been deactivated and I cannot reach any information without being shown the same
screen announcing I'm deactivated. Please explain.

Kathleen: As what I have checked here in our end that your phone number is already
expired then you will need to renew it.
Me: Here is an order number: TSxxxxxxxxx.
Me: Here also, is a Reference ID: 3xxxxx6 These refere to my renewal on JAN 20,
2012. Are you saying these are not accurate? They came from my order online.
Me: The renewal was for 2 years!
Kathleen: That is for your device.
Kathleen: The subscription of your phone number and your device is different.
Me: What does that mean?
Kathleen: You will need to renew the subscription of your phone number.
Me: Then what did I pay for? You cannot accept money from me and give me nothing in

Me: You sentence is hard to understand. Please re-explain that last statement.
Me: What do I get for my $39 I paid in January? I assume I pay you $39, I get phone
service through the device.
Me: When I originally got the magicjack, I paid one fee and got phone service, free
911 and everything else that is available on 'my.magicjack' site.
Kathleen: The 39..90 was for the 2 year plan of the device and Custom number is the
one that you purchase on us worth 3 and renew it for 3.
Me: What do you mean.... 'worth 3 and renew for 3'. That's not understandable.
Kathleen: $3.00 for the renewal of a custom number.
Me: So I must pay $3 to renew a custom number? For what period of time? WHAT IS
THE 2 YEAR PLAN IF IT DOESN'T INCLUDE THE COST OF A NUMBER? AND IF I
DON'T PAY $3 TO RENEW, WHAT THEN?
Kathleen: Yes. Exactly.
Me: And the other questions???
Kathleen: As what I have said that the subscription of the device and the Custom
number is different.
Me: How is my number custom? I never paid $3 extra before? The other questions
were not answered...
Kathleen: We have records here in our end that you purchased a Custom Number.
Me: When I signed up, I got a number from your list of choices. I did not subscribe to
a specific number. Why are you calling it an "custom number"?
Me: And you still have not answered the other questions......
Kathleen: What question?
Me: WHAT IS THE 2 YEAR PLAN IF IT DOESN'T INCLUDE THE COST OF A
NUMBER? AND IF I DON'T PAY $3 TO RENEW, WHAT THEN?

I would like to add that the standard issued phone number still works for out or
incoming phone calls. Going to the website and logging in, I cannot access my phone
book, any account information and the information provided with each mouse click is
the same. I'm expired and need to renew. I'm told 911 is not active. I sure wish they
had answered those questions. Oh well.
When a glass 1/2 full meets a glass 1/2 empty what do you get? A full glass or two opposites trying to occupy the same space?
