Windows Services list
Hey guys, I am looking for a list of windows services that must be enabled to run Magicjack. I disabled a lot of then and then discovered problems calling out, problems with no dial tone and other errors. Others might wanna take note! I am trying to disable every service not absolutely needed. Does anyone have a complete list of Magicjack dependencies?

Services probably aren't the problem
This is actually from my PC that won't dial out from phone, but it includes every service running from a PC that works perfectly with mj. Email me and I'll send it to you.

Re: Windows Services list
you can start by going into "msconfig" and click "Diable all" then enable the program that is pointing to magicjack...save and restart.devinmccloud wrote:Hey guys, I am looking for a list of windows services that must be enabled to run Magicjack. Gooney, that doesn't even make sense! No you can't....there are several services that are needed to run the magicjack build into XP(e.g Telephone). If you leave the defaults... MJ runs fine. The point was creating a pc strictly for the magicjack and disabling every service not needed. I disabled several that cause MJ to not be able to call out and just had a constant dial tone. I started this post to find a list of services needed if all services were disabled.
1. plug and play - started - automatic
2. remote access connection manager - started - manual
3. remote procedure call - started - automatic
4. remote procedure call (locator) - stopped - manual
5. telephony - started - manual
6. windows audio - started - automatic
If anyone knows of any others or if these are all right please post to this post.
