MagicJack not working in Area Code 703
My magic jack which i have had for 3 months has stopped working this afternoon. I get error message "please connect to the internet and double click here - error 4" I AM CONNECTED to the internet. I can't even access magicjack.com. Does anyone know if there is a problem on the east coast? I am using windows xp nothing has changed since i last used magic jack (this morning). I get a dial tone, but I cannot make or receive calls. I'm very concerned that I can't even reach magicjack.com it says there is a problem with the server. Please help!!!!! I need my phone.

magicJack Outage...
Good evening, bastarama.
I can confirm that my magicJack service failed at 1526 EDT today, 20 July (during a telephone conversation!) In my case, the softphone client says, "Please connect to the Internet and double click here [error 3]" in the status window. I am located in Exton, Pennsylvania, which is technically the mid-Atlantic region of the United States, but could arguably be considered the East Coast.
Additionally, I am unable to reach http://my.magicjack.com.
It is my conclusion that this is a magicJack service outage unrelated to my equipment or environment.
I haven't bothered with magicJack technical support (like it would actually help anyway.)
My strategy is to wait until they (magicJack) resolve the problem. Then, I'll have telephone service again.
Thank you.
Lisa
