OK here goes, I have searched the internet for this question, this is my last hope.
I have Bellsouth/ATT local service and long distance service right now. If I drop the Bellsouth long distance and keep the bellsouth local service, will I still be able to receive incoming long distance calls through my local (Bellsouth) number?
total newbee question

Yes people that will be calling you will be paying the LD phone charge. I dumped my LD with AT&T and people calling me from out of state, etc still can call me on my landline phone.diogenes wrote:OK here goes, I have searched the internet for this question, this is my last hope.

I apologize for posting in the wrong area, I looked at the top level forums and this appeared to be the best place.HendersonMike wrote:Well, I was going to answer this but since it is not related to a MagicJack technical question, I ain't gonna.
I would also like to thank you for your kind response and willingness to help out a new user.

Forum Title = " Technical Support Having issues with your Magicjack? Post here, and we'll try to help you out!" ....... Guess you did not look good enuff , for just below that is the lounge, where you can post about anything............... And had you posted in the proper place, you would have had your answer post-haste. Paying attention costs nothing.diogenes wrote:

I will say this: Of all the forums I have visited, this is one of the most disorganised. People don't use the search function; they also do not read the headings, they just post anywhere they wish. There are days when the same problem is posted numerous times in the same forum heading; people don't even read what's on the screen is front of them before starting another thread. It gets frustrating trying to sort through this stuff and offer help when those requesting help don't do their part to try and keep this stuff somewhat organized.Vmill wrote:HendersonMike......maybe it's time for you to take a break from MagicJack and get a life.

Could not agree with you more, maine-iac. That's one of the few reasons I made another forum at --> http://unofficialmagicjack2.proboards104.com/index.cgimaine-iac wrote:

Topics/ Subjects will have the problem in the title for easier searching and standard things will be stickied. Stop by and take a peak.
