Can some one please help me.

I successfully installed XP Pro in VirtualBox 1.5.6 on Ubutnu 8.04 with USB interface. My MJ comes up by itself and I can make and receive calls only with softphone. But not able to use analog phone.

On softphone, when I click Menu->Volume/Headset control, it is not allowing me to select "Telephone" radio button. It selected Headset/Other by default.

Thanks in advance

MJRP... not sure if this will help, but I was browsing and read where someone had a problem with the softphone stuck on the headset option and they went into Performance and Maintenance > System Properties > Hardware > Device Manager > Other Devices > USB 2.0 (which showed to be malfunctioning) and deleted it.

When I had the same problem, the same solution worked for me and it's been working fine ever since. Don't know what caused/causes this, but you might try it.

I followed your suggestion and found one USB device was having yellow bang.
Following are the properties of the driver. I deleted this USB audio device but no success.
Is there any way I can fix this audio device issue?

Sound, video and game controllers
(Generic USB Audio)
Location 0 (USB Internet Phone by TigerJet)

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

MJRP, I have had the exact same issue using VMware on Ubuntu/Suse/Debian and anything else I have tried it on using multiple PC/Laptops and architectures (!) -- was never able to devote the time necessary to figure it out. I am pretty sure in one of the Linux threads in this forum that someone had Vbox + MJ working OK (except the audio was a little choppy).
