Broken Magicjack--need to replace

Post by jjl8 »

How do I go about replacing a broken MagicJack? The warranty/30 day guarantee has elapsed. This is a simple case of the actual device having broken into two parts, not a technical problem with my computer. The MagicJack website says they will send me a new one for $20 and I can keep my number but it doesn't provide any other details--i. e. where to send it to, who to contact, etc. If anyone has any information on this, I would appreciate it.

Pretty simple. Go to the MJ webpage and contact online support ( chat) and explain what happened to your MJ dongle. They will give you instructions on what to do. Although I am pretty sure they do not want your old dongle back. Also when you do get your new dongle, be sure to contact support FIRST before you plug it in so they can transfer your #.
