Magicjack is selling them direct for $29.95 w/free shipping. Check your softphone or go to http://secure.magicjack.com/my/index.html
Magicjack is now undercutting all their retailers, I wonder how much longer they will be in business pulling a stunt like that.

Damn, you are serious too. My BIL can't compete if they are selling them direct at that price. He is going to be pissed when he finds out.laserjobs wrote:Magicjack is selling them direct for $29.95 w/free shipping. Check your softphone or go to http://secure.magicjack.com/my/index.html

Oh, but they raised the price of the 5 year extension.
While it is still a deal at $70.00, I will now have to wait for it to drop again. If it doesn't drop again, I guess I'll have to hope my inbound Tk6000 lives up to its hype.
Damn, I hate missing out on a deal!
Oh well, I may still grab some $30.00 MJ's as gifts.

RE: Under Selling
I believe the $29.95 is their Black Friday one day sale price, at least according to my info. But who knows, here in the RP I have seen stores with of going out of business sale signs posted 2 or 3 years....LoL.

I seem to remember they did the same thing last year at RS!Brenbro2 wrote:I believe the $29.95 is their Black Friday one day sale price, at least according to my info. But who knows, here in the RP I have seen stores with of going out of business sale signs posted 2 or 3 years....LoL.
Sad Times Ahead for this Obamanation !!!! Psalms 109:8
When I told my BIL he said to stop selling them because he is canceling his contract with MagicJack and returning all of his inventory. Buy one direct or from Radio Shack if you want the same price.

I have seen them on eBay at less than $25 with free shipping. Customer complaits and PC Magazine dropping its recommendation for MJ must be hurting sales.

Price re Magic Jack
If i am not mistaken the predomint price from Magic Jack is $38.95 (which with tax, etc.) comes to $46.xx U.S. That price is stated as including 1st year use "free". So if one thinks they are getting a deal on a $29.95 for the hardware only and then has to pay $19.95 U.S for the service (+ tax, etc.) someone with more imagination and different mathmatics will have to explain it to me.truenorth

The magical solution is that the Magic Jack always includes the first year of service for "free." It is never sold as "hardware only."
The question is, where did you get the idea it was being sold as hardware only? That was never stated in this thread, until your post.
re magic Jack pricing
I got the idea from the fact that "nowhere " did those offering it at $29.95 state that it included the 1 year use "free". This belief was compounded by the fact Magic Jack themselves seem to always emphasise the $38.95 price includes "1 year free". Nowhere have i ever read before your claiming it to be so that other offers whatever price they may include the 1st year "free". That should explain how i came to that conclusion.I am not one who believes that if something isn't stated then it is so. If you want to tell me facts please include them.truenorth

Re: re magic Jack pricing
You assumed that you were the only intelligent person who had this situation all figured out. Everyone else posting in this thread is a moron, you implied.truenorth wrote:I got the idea from the fact that "nowhere " did those offering it at $29.95 state that it included the 1 year use "free". It turns out that you're not the genius you think you are.
You need to work on your research skills.
I already told you that Magic Jack is never sold as "hardware only."
Those are the facts.
Even if i were to accept your notification re the "never" it still remains that in all the research i have done so far (including on this forum) there was "never" anything that stated that a price lower than the MJ themselves stated "included " the 1st year free (until you personnaly stated so). I do not wish to belabor the issue any further and i do thank you for pointing out to me that regardless of the source of puchase and regardless of the price it "always" includes the 1st year free. I am not a current owner/user of the MJ (but hope to be soon when i can hopefully get some answers to the questions i have asked on the technical forum of this forum).truenorth

Good luck. With critical thinking skills like yours, you are going to need it.truenorth wrote:Even if i were to accept your notification re the "never" it still remains that in all the research i have done so far (including on this forum) there was "never" anything that stated that a price lower than the MJ themselves stated "included " the 1st year free (until you personnaly stated so). Re: Price re Magic Jack
Of course they came with 1 year of service, don't be such a bonehead. Who would sell expired magicJacks. It doesn't matter now since I have none left to sell.truenorth wrote:If i am not mistaken the predomint price from Magic Jack is $38.95 (which with tax, etc.) comes to $46.xx U.S. That price is stated as including 1st year use "free".
