| What is Walmart's price for the MJ? It's not listed on their web site yet. |

We bought our MJs at WalMart last week, it's 39.96 in Atlanta. Should be the same price everywhere, but who knows?

| Thank you. I was just curious because Walmart never sells anything at full price. 3 cents off of full price isn't much, but it's their way of saying that they're the lowest price. |

Add on 7% sales tax and now is it still cheaper than ordering directly from the MJ web site? |

Since 6% (where I am) or even tax as high as 10% of $40 is still less than the shipping charge, yes, you come out ahead. Plus, I didn't risk the aggravation (that I've seen mentioned in these forums) of credit card billing mistakes by MJ, I didn't have to sit through all their "add-on" sales pitches, and I got it immediately... |

Last time I checked, they charged almost $7 shipping, which is about 17.5% on a $40 purchase. This despite the fact that the package weighs less than 3 oz. and is ideal for shipping, so almost all of it is pure profit.
Edit: I bought my MJ from an Amazon reseller last October. The package says it was shipped via USPS, 3 oz. first-class mail parcel rate, no surcharge. (It doesn't say what the actual amount was.) Since the MJ comes in a rectangular styrofoam box, it doesn't need any extra padding and hence the packaging consists of a sealed plastic bag, which costs essentially nothing. |

| Comparing apples to apples, Walmart is 3 cents cheaper than Radio Shack, Best Buy, etc., in the same area. |
