I tried it, and it didn't work! Every number I dialed, I get an error saying that please dial the area code and number and try again. I tried dialing 98 for voicemale, and it didn't work either. Also everytime I hang up, the MJ softphone loses focus, and when I pick up the phone, the magic Jack dialer appears. I am using Windows XP service pack 3. Is anyone else having this problem?

Go to their forum as some other people are having problems with 7 digit dialing.
ALSO it seems MagicFeatures no longer can get caller ID names from the MJ contact list since the MJ 2.0 update. That means if you want to see a name on your phone, this goes for call waiting caller ID too, you need to enter the #'s in the magicfeatures speed dial area !! It will also try a Google lookup as well for the name. Thank you again MJ, NOT........

For clarification, Magicfeatures does automatically open and close the magicJack dialer window when you go offhook and onhook.
Please go to the http://support.pcphonesoft.com forum and report your issues so they can be resolved. |
