When someone calls my magic jack and no one answers, even if the caller has closed, the magic jack keeps ringing. By the way when I talk with someone the conversation ends when it gets to 32 seconds.
Basicly:
1.Someone calls magic jack
2.No one answers
3.Caller leaves a message or doesn't, then hangs up
4.Magic Jack keeps ringing after caller has hung up
Keeps ringing after caller has held up

Same thing... MJ won't stop ringing
I have the exact same thing happening...
* When i call my Magic Jack number from my cell phone it rings 4 times then goes to voicemail
* The phone plugged into the MJ continues to ring and ring and ring until I either click 'ignore' in the dial pad or lift up the receiver on the phone itself.
I've tried cordless & corded phones (multiples)
I've tried different computers (4 of them actually)
* Two desktops (XP Pro and Win7)
* Two laptops (Vista Pro & Win7)
I've completed the upgrade and verified the sound settings in control panel.
I've tried many different RJ11 cables; tried using a splitter as mentioned in another thread and still no go...
Does anyone have any final thoughts before I return the product to the store???
Thanks,

I searched in the forum and found this http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/phon ... t4340.html another search may also bring up some other possible fixes.
Fixed the issue
Found a few articles on some other sites, this fixed my problem:
On the Linksys WRT610N, go the Administration page and check off the DISABLE SIP ALG option, reboot the router and then restart the MagicJack.
Works like a charm now.
Hope this helps others out there.
